At home, the singer appeared alongside a rainbow-themed setup, including a birthday cake inspired by NeeDoh and matching decorations. The table was also prepared with colourful gift bags and other party details.
The larger celebration took place at Nickelodeon Universe, where Khai spent time with friends.

One of the standout details was the birthday cake.
The four-tiered dessert featured miniature Squishmallows and a large number of six on top. Lollipops added another colourful touch to the cake.
Khai also wore a Squishmallows-inspired dress for the celebration and had her hair styled in a high braid.
Malik thanked the people involved in making the birthday special and praised the cake in his Instagram caption. Current reports also confirm that the party included colourful decorations and entertainment at American Dream.
Gigi Hadid Celebrates Khai’s Birthday at Home
Khai’s birthday was also marked by her mother, Gigi Hadid.
Hadid shared a glimpse of the birthday tradition on Instagram Stories, showing Khai’s breakfast at home. The simple celebration included bacon and a cupcake.
The separate posts offered fans two different glimpses into Khai’s birthday weekend while keeping the focus on the milestone itself.
Hadid has previously shared limited glimpses of her daughter’s birthdays. In 2025, for example, she marked Khai’s fifth birthday with rare photos and a heartfelt message celebrating her daughter.
Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid Continue to Co-Parent Khai
Although Malik and Hadid ended their relationship in 2021, they continue to share a connection through their daughter.
The former couple welcomed Khai in September 2020. Since then, both have occasionally spoken about parenthood while generally keeping Khai’s private life away from the spotlight.
Malik discussed fatherhood during his 2023 appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast. He explained that becoming a father made him more focused on setting a positive example for his daughter.
Hadid has also previously discussed the importance of putting Khai’s happiness first when navigating co-parenting.
Khai Turns 6 With Family Celebrations
Khai’s sixth birthday brought together several familiar elements of a childhood celebration: friends, colourful decorations, themed treats and family traditions.
While Malik shared a larger glimpse of the festivities at American Dream, Hadid’s post offered a quieter look at the birthday at home.
For fans who rarely see Khai publicly, the birthday posts provided a small window into how her parents marked another milestone while continuing to protect much of her privacy
