Taylor Swift returned to Arrowhead Stadium on September 20 to support her husband, Travis Kelce, as the Kansas City Chiefs faced the Indianapolis Colts. The singer drew attention during the game when she celebrated Kelce’s first touchdown of the 2026 NFL season by pointing toward her wedding ring.
Swift watched the Week 2 matchup from a suite at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. She was joined by her parents, Andrea and Scott Swift, as well as Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce.
The appearance came less than a week after Swift attended the Chiefs’ season opener against the Denver Broncos. It also marked her second consecutive Chiefs game of the 2026 season.
Taylor Swift Celebrates Travis Kelce’s Touchdown
The biggest Swift moment came during the first quarter.
Kelce found the end zone for his first touchdown of the season. Cameras then captured Swift celebrating from the suite and pointing toward her wedding ring.
Video from the stadium appeared to show Swift saying, “That’s my husband!” as she celebrated the score. Entertainment Weekly and other outlets reported the same moment following the game.
Kelce finished the game with nine receptions for 101 yards and one touchdown. He also reached another NFL milestone during the matchup, setting a league record for career receiving yards after the catch.
Taylor Swift’s Chiefs Game-Day Outfit
Swift kept her latest football look relatively simple.
She wore a red Kansas City Chiefs tank top with light blue jeans. She completed the outfit with a black belt, gold jewellery and hoop earrings.
The singer’s game-day appearance once again combined Chiefs colours with her own style. Her wedding ring also became one of the most talked-about details of the look after Kelce scored.
Reports identified the tank top as a design from WEAR by Erin Andrews, a sportswear line Swift has worn at previous Chiefs games.
Swift Watched From the Kelce Family Suite
Swift was not alone at Arrowhead.
Her parents, Andrea and Scott Swift, attended the game, while Travis Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce, was also in the suite.
Other members of Kelce’s family and inner circle were reportedly present as well. The family setting added to the personal feel of Swift’s latest appearance at a Chiefs game.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Are Married
Swift’s appearance also comes during a new chapter in her relationship with Kelce.
The couple married on July 3, 2026, at Madison Square Garden in New York City. A representative for Swift confirmed the marriage, with comedian Adam Sandler officiating the ceremony.
The wedding followed their highly publicised relationship, which began in 2023 after Kelce spoke publicly about wanting to meet Swift.
Since their marriage, Swift has continued to appear at Chiefs games to support Kelce.
Kelce previously described the wedding as “the best night of my life” during a Chiefs press conference in August.
Chiefs Defeat Colts in Overtime
The Chiefs’ victory gave Swift another reason to celebrate.
Kansas City defeated Indianapolis 33–30 in overtime at Arrowhead Stadium. Harrison Butker kicked the game-winning 40-yard field goal as time expired in overtime.
Patrick Mahomes completed 32 of 47 passes for 382 yards and three touchdowns. Kelce was one of the key contributors through the air with his 101 receiving yards and touchdown.
The official Chiefs game centre lists Kansas City at 2–0 after the Week 2 victory, while Indianapolis fell to 0–2.
Swift’s Growing Connection to Chiefs Game Days
Swift’s presence at Chiefs games has become a recurring part of NFL and entertainment coverage since her relationship with Kelce became public.
Her appearances have also attracted considerable attention to her game-day fashion. Over the past few seasons, she has worn everything from Chiefs merchandise and casual denim to designer outfits and custom football-inspired pieces.
Her September 20 appearance, however, focused less on a major fashion statement and more on supporting Kelce during an important divisional game.
With the Chiefs now 2–0, Swift has already been spotted at both of Kansas City’s games this season.
Whether she continues attending games throughout the 2026 NFL season remains to be seen, but her latest Arrowhead appearance once again brought together football, celebrity culture and Swift’s evolving public life with Kelce.
