Milania Giudice Gets Professional Help Amid Difficult Period

Milania Giudice is receiving professional support as she deals with a particularly difficult period in her life.

The 20-year-old daughter of The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice is currently under the care of professionals, according to a statement from her representative reported on September 24, 2026. The update comes after several challenging months for Milania, including a New Jersey assault case and the death of her close friend Victoria Zardoya.

Her representative, Maria DeSantis, said Milania is surrounded by family and friends while receiving professional care. The family is also asking for compassion and privacy during this time.

Milania Giudice Is Receiving Professional Support

The update about Milania’s well-being came after a tense incident involving her family at Tampa International Airport.

According to reporting from TMZ, police were called to the airport on September 23 after an incident involving Milania, Teresa and her sister Gia Giudice. The airport later confirmed that officers responded to a call for assistance. TMZ reported that there was no arrest, medical transport or police report resulting from the airport response.

Soon afterwards, Milania’s representative confirmed that she was receiving professional care.

DeSantis described the situation as a challenging period for Milania and said her family and friends were focused on her health, healing and well-being. The representative also asked the public to respect the family’s privacy.

The Death of Victoria Zardoya Has Been a Major Loss

Milania has also been mourning the death of her long-time friend Victoria Zardoya.

Zardoya, who was 20, died after suffering injuries during a fall at the historic Fort Dade ruins on Egmont Key, Florida, in July. The District 12 Medical Examiner’s Office later confirmed that her cause of death was craniocerebral trauma and ruled the manner of death an accident.

Milania publicly remembered her friend on social media. She later got a wrist tattoo reading “Baby V” as a tribute to Zardoya.

The loss has remained an important part of Milania’s recent public updates.

Milania Has Also Faced an Assault Case

Before the latest update about professional care, Milania was dealing with a legal matter in New Jersey.

Montville Township police said an investigation into a May 14 dispute resulted in a summons complaint charging Milania with one count of simple assault, classified as a disorderly persons offence. The alleged incident took place at a residence in Montville.

Court reporting later showed that Milania pleaded not guilty. Her attorney, Alan Kraminsky, also told a judge in August that she had enrolled in anger management classes. Her case was subsequently scheduled for another hearing in September.

Milania previously addressed the situation publicly in June. She acknowledged that she had been going through a difficult period and said she wanted to learn from the experience.

Joe Giudice Offers Support for His Daughter

Milania’s father, Joe Giudice, has also spoken publicly about his daughter’s situation.

In a statement reported by Page Six, Joe said that Milania is going through a difficult period and that what people see publicly does not necessarily reflect what she is experiencing privately. He also emphasised his continued support for his daughter.

His comments came after the airport incident involving Milania, Teresa and Gia.

For the Giudice family, the recent months have therefore involved both legal proceedings and personal grief.

What Happens Next for Milania Giudice?

For now, Milania’s representatives say the priority is her well-being.

Her family has asked for privacy while she continues working with professionals and those close to her. Meanwhile, her New Jersey assault case remains a separate legal matter.

The recent developments highlight that several difficult circumstances have occurred in Milania’s life within a relatively short period. Her representative said Milania may eventually speak more openly about her experiences, with the hope of helping other young people facing their own struggles.

For now, however, the family is keeping the focus on her health, healing and support system.
