Ella Bright has addressed the Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli feud rumors, revealing that the Off Campus co-stars have been laughing about the online speculation rather than letting it affect their friendship.
Bright discussed the rumors during an interview with E! News at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards on September 27. She explained that she and Cameli spend so much time together on the Off Campus set that they have been able to joke about the stories circulating online.
The two actors play Hannah Wells and Garrett Graham, respectively, on the Prime Video series.
Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli Laugh Off Feud Rumors
According to Bright, the speculation became something she and Cameli could laugh about while working together.
She explained that Cameli would sometimes see the online posts and bring them up while they were in the green room. Rather than taking the rumors seriously, the pair treated them as an amusing misunderstanding.
Bright also joked about the attention surrounding her Instagram, where fans had noticed changes involving photos of her and Cameli.
The social media activity had led some Off Campus viewers to wonder whether the two actors had fallen out. However, Bright and Cameli previously appeared together in a video from the set to push back against those claims.
Why Did Fans Think the Off Campus Stars Were Feuding?
The speculation largely began after fans noticed that several Instagram posts featuring Bright had disappeared from Cameli’s profile.
That led some viewers to interpret the changes as a possible sign of tension between the co-stars. However, social media activity alone does not establish that two people are having a personal dispute.
Bright and Cameli have both continued to speak positively about their working relationship.
Cameli previously praised Bright’s performance as Hannah and described her positively while discussing the show and its second season.
The pair also appeared together at the 2026 MTV VMAs. They were among the presenters announced for the ceremony, which took place in Los Angeles on September 27.
Ella Bright Calls the Off Campus Cast Her Family
Bright also highlighted her close relationship with the wider Off Campus cast.
She described her co-stars as family and said she was going to miss spending time with them after Season 2 wrapped production.
That connection has been an important part of the show’s appeal. Off Campus follows students at Briar University as they navigate relationships, friendship and life around the school’s hockey team.
The series is based on Elle Kennedy’s bestselling book series.
What to Expect From Off Campus Season 2
Prime Video has renewed Off Campus for a second season, with Bright and Cameli returning as Hannah and Garrett. The returning cast also includes Mika Abdalla, Stephen Kalyn, Antonio Cipriano and Jalen Thomas Brooks.
Season 2 will shift its central romantic focus toward Allie Hayes and Dean Di Laurentis while continuing the broader stories surrounding the Briar University characters.
Bright has also teased the comfortable dynamic the cast developed after spending more time together on the series.
For viewers, that means the new season will build on relationships established during the first installment while introducing new developments within the wider Off Campus story.
The Feud Rumors Have Not Changed the Cast’s Season 2 Plans
For now, the available public evidence points to Bright and Cameli continuing their professional relationship as the show moves forward.
Their appearance together at the VMAs came shortly after Season 2 production wrapped, giving fans another opportunity to see the co-stars together outside their fictional roles.
Rather than confirming the social media speculation, Bright’s latest comments suggest that she and Cameli have chosen to treat the rumors with humor.
As Off Campus moves into its second season, fans will have to wait for the show’s new episodes to see how Hannah and Garrett’s story develops alongside the rest of the Briar University cast.
