Chris Anne Affleck Died in June
Chris Anne Affleck died on June 2, 2026, at the age of 83.
According to her family’s obituary, she had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in December 2025 and was given an estimated six months to live. Her death was later reported as involving cardiopulmonary arrest, with pancreatic cancer listed as an underlying condition.
Chris spent much of her career as a public school teacher. She also remained involved in social and community causes after retiring.
Her obituary described her as a devoted mother and grandmother. She was able to attend a grandson’s high school graduation on May 31, just two days before her death.
Timothy Affleck Died Two Months Earlier
Affleck’s father, Timothy Affleck, died in April 2026 at age 76.
His death was publicly confirmed by Casey Affleck earlier in September. Casey discussed the loss while speaking at the Venice Film Festival and said that he had wanted his parents to see his film Company.
Timothy and Chris divorced in 1984. After the separation, Ben and Casey grew up primarily with their mother in Massachusetts, while their father moved to California.
