Julianne Hough has publicly congratulated her ex-husband, Brooks Laich, following his marriage to Katrín Tanja Davíðsdóttir.
Laich and Davíðsdóttir tied the knot on August 15, 2026, at their home in Idaho near Coeur d’Alene. Hough later shared a warm message beneath the couple’s Instagram announcement.
Her response offered another example of the friendly relationship she has maintained with Laich since their divorce.

Hough responded to Laich and Davíðsdóttir’s wedding announcement on Instagram on August 18.
The Dancing With the Stars host congratulated the couple and wished them happiness, good health and love for their life together.
The message was consistent with Hough’s previous public support for her former husband and his relationship with Davíðsdóttir.
Hough and Laich were married in 2017. They announced their separation in 2020, and their divorce was finalised in 2022. Despite the end of their marriage, the two have continued to speak positively about each other.

The newlyweds celebrated their wedding at their Idaho home on August 15.
According to People, the three-day celebration included about 110 guests. The weekend featured a welcome gathering, an outdoor lakeside ceremony and a 1950s-themed beach brunch.
The setting also carried a personal connection for Laich. He previously married Hough in the same broader Lake Coeur d’Alene area in 2017.
This time, however, Laich and Davíðsdóttir chose the lakeside setting as the backdrop for their own wedding celebration.
A New Chapter for Laich and Davíðsdóttir
Laich and Davíðsdóttir have been together since 2021. They announced their engagement in December 2024 before welcoming their daughter, Emberly, in October 2025.
Davíðsdóttir is an Icelandic former CrossFit athlete who won the CrossFit Games in 2015 and 2016. Laich, meanwhile, is a former professional hockey player who played in the NHL before retiring from professional hockey.
Their wedding therefore marked an important milestone after several years together.
