Leah Remini is officially heading to Beverly Hills.
The actress has joined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for Season 16 as a full-time cast member, bringing a major new name to Bravo’s long-running reality franchise. Multiple outlets, including PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly, confirmed the casting on August 26.
Remini also confirmed the news herself on social media, putting an end to speculation about her upcoming move to the Housewives world.
The new season is already in production. However, Bravo has not yet announced an official premiere date for RHOBH Season 16.
Leah Remini is joining the RHOBH cast full-time.
Remini is best known for her television career, particularly her role as Carrie Heffernan on the hit sitcom The King of Queens.
She later appeared in Kevin Can Wait and expanded her career beyond scripted television. She also became known for her work in unscripted programming and documentary television.
Her reality-TV experience includes Leah Remini: It’s All Relative, which premiered on TLC in 2014. She also fronted the Emmy-winning docuseries Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath, which explored her experiences and criticisms following her departure from the Church of Scientology.

Remini is not the only major addition to the Beverly Hills cast.
Tracy Tutor, known for Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, is also joining the series for Season 16. Bravo confirmed Tutor’s casting on August 19.
Tutor is a luxury real estate agent and has already built a television following through her work on Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles. Bravo describes her as a long-time real estate professional with a substantial career in luxury property sales.
The returning full-time cast members include:

Kathy Hilton and Jennifer Tilly are also expected to return, but in recurring “friend of the cast” roles rather than as full-time housewives.
Amanda Frances Will Not Return for Season 16
The Season 16 cast changes also include a departure.
Amanda Frances, who joined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for Season 15, confirmed in August that she would not be returning.
Bravo reported that Frances announced her exit after completing one season with the franchise. She said she was grateful for the experience and planned to focus on other parts of her life and career.
Her departure opened another spot as the show moved into its next season.
Why Leah Remini’s RHOBH Casting Stands Out
Remini’s casting gives RHOBH another established television personality rather than simply introducing an unknown reality-TV newcomer.
