Brittany Mahomes Shares Sweet Family Moment With Patrick Mahomes During Chiefs Training Camp

Brittany Mahomes Shares Sweet Family Moment with Patrick Mahomes During Chiefs Training Camp

Brittany Mahomes offered fans a glimpse of family life as husband Patrick Mahomes continues preparing for the 2026 NFL season with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The couple recently spent time with their three children, Sterling, Bronze and Golden, during a demanding period for Patrick. Brittany shared the cosy family moment on Instagram as the Chiefs neared the end of their 2026 training camp.

The timing is notable because Patrick is returning to football after undergoing surgery on his left knee following a season-ending injury in December 2025.

Brittany Mahomes Shares a Cosy Moment With Her Family

Brittany Mahomes shared photos showing Patrick Mahomes relaxing with the family during training camp.

The quarterback appeared alongside his wife and their three children, creating a quieter family moment away from the pressure of NFL preparation.

The children are Sterling Skye, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon and Golden Raye. The family has frequently appeared together at Chiefs events and on Brittany’s social media.

The latest family snapshot comes during a particularly important stretch for Patrick as he works toward his return to regular-season football.

Patrick Mahomes Is Preparing for His Return

Patrick Mahomes’ return has been one of the major storylines surrounding the Chiefs heading into the 2026 season.

In December 2025, Mahomes suffered a torn ACL in his left knee during Kansas City’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chiefs later confirmed that he underwent surgery to repair the ACL, while ESPN reported that the LCL was also repaired during the procedure.

Mahomes began rehabilitation soon after surgery.

By July 2026, he had reached another major milestone. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said Mahomes had been cleared to fully participate in training camp. The quarterback also said the goal was to keep improving so he could be ready when the regular season arrived.

That progress has made his comeback one of the key developments to watch around Kansas City.

The Mahomes Kids Have Been Supporting Their Dad

Brittany and the children have also been visible around the Chiefs during the team’s preparations.

The family attended Kansas City’s preseason opener against the Los Angeles Rams on Aug. 15 at Arrowhead Stadium. Brittany shared photos of Sterling, Bronze and Golden at the game, including their reactions to seeing their father.

The Chiefs lost that preseason game 20-12, according to the team’s official game report.

Patrick Mahomes did not play in that preseason matchup, but his presence around the team continued as he worked through his return.

Chiefs Training Camp Has Now Wrapped Up

Kansas City’s 2026 training camp officially ran from July 29 through Aug. 20 at Missouri Western State University in St Joseph, Missouri.

The Chiefs held their final training-camp practice on Aug. 20. The team described it as the 18th and final practice of camp.

With camp complete, attention now turns toward the rest of the preseason and, ultimately, the regular season.

The Chiefs are scheduled to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Aug. 22 in their second preseason game. Their regular-season opener is scheduled for Sept. 14 against the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium.

Why Patrick Mahomes’ Comeback Matters for Kansas City

Mahomes’ health will remain a major storyline as the Chiefs approach the regular season.

The quarterback has spent months working through rehabilitation after the knee injury. His clearance for full training-camp participation was an important step, but the team has continued to monitor his workload and progress.

For now, the focus is on building toward the regular season rather than rushing the process.

Meanwhile, Brittany’s latest family post offers a reminder that Mahomes’ comeback is unfolding alongside his life away from football. With his wife and three children frequently supporting him, the quarterback has had plenty of familiar faces around him during the journey back to the field.
