Kristen Bell gave fans at a Savannah Bananas game in Denver an unexpected musical treat on Aug. 15, 2026. The actress stepped onto the field during the team’s matchup with the Indianapolis Clowns and joined Broadway performer Derek Klena for a playful song-and-dance medley.
The appearance came just one day after Bell reunited with her Frozen castmates at Disney’s D23 event, where the team offered a first look at Frozen 3. The timing made her surprise performance especially notable for fans of the Disney franchise.

According to reports from the event, Bell emerged from the stands wearing a custom Savannah Bananas jersey with leopard-print cargo pants. She then made her way toward the field as the crowd reacted to the unexpected celebrity appearance.
The Savannah Bananas were in Denver for their 2026 Banana Ball World Tour, with games scheduled at Coors Field on Aug. 14 and 15.
Rather than simply making a brief appearance, Bell became part of the entertainment.
She opened the musical segment with “For the First Time in Forever”, the Frozen song associated with her character, Anna. Bell then interacted with the audience before Broadway star Derek Klena joined her.

Klena, who has been performing with the Savannah Bananas during their Banana Ball tour, brought another Broadway favourite into the performance.
He sang “Dancing Through Life” from Wicked, while Bell joined him on the field. The two then moved into “(I’ve Had) the Time of My Life” from the 1987 film Dirty Dancing.
The finale recreated one of the movie’s best-known dance moments. Bell and Klena performed the famous lift from Dirty Dancing, giving the baseball crowd an unexpected movie-musical crossover.
The Savannah Bananas later shared footage of the performance on social media, describing the combination as a musical mashup fans did not know they needed.

Bell will return as Anna, while Menzel will reprise Elsa and Gad will again voice Olaf. Jonathan Groff is also returning as Kristoff.
Disney confirmed that Frozen 3 will arrive in theatres on Nov. 24, 2027. The presentation also introduced a new mysterious villainess whose powers appear to rival Elsa’s.

The presentation also teased a mysterious new female character. Disney has not yet publicly identified the character or revealed who will provide her voice.
