CBS and MTV announced that the rapper will lead the ceremony when the VMAs return to Los Angeles. The event will be broadcast live from the Peacock Theatre on September 27.
Snoop has a long history with the VMAs. He is a 13-time nominee and three-time VMA winner, according to the official announcement.
The 2026 ceremony marks the VMAs’ return to the West Coast for the first time since 2017.
