Lioness Season 3 Episode 4 Recap: Joe’s Rescue Mission Takes a Dark Turn

The Lioness Season 3 Episode 4 recap brings Joe McNamara’s kidnapping to a critical point. While her team races to find her, the episode also reveals how one of Joe’s earlier intelligence operations helped create the danger she now faces.

This time, the rescue effort becomes even more desperate. Joe’s captors move her to an aeroplane hangar and prepare to take her out of the area. Meanwhile, her colleagues discover a clue that gives them a chance to track the aircraft.

Joe’s Team Arrives Too Late

Joe remains in Russian custody at the start of the episode. Her captors move her from the location where she was being held to an aeroplane hangar.

The rescue team eventually reaches the hangar. However, Joe is already gone.

Instead, they find evidence that she was there, including blood and several Russian operatives. Kyle McManus reacts violently during the interrogation and kills one of the Russians.

He then forces another man to provide the aircraft’s tail number.

That information becomes extremely important. The team can now identify the plane carrying Joe, but locating it is another challenge.

Can the Team Stop Joe’s Plane?

The aircraft is identified as a Challenger 300. However, the search becomes difficult because its transponder has been switched off.

The plane is also flying low enough to make conventional tracking more complicated.

Why Operation Treasure Matters to Joe’s Kidnapping

The flashbacks add an important layer to Joe’s current predicament.
